Cullman Christian School is offering a new option for home school families....
....Course-specific Cooperative Programs (5th-12th grade)-for home school students.
We are not a home school covering but a support to homeschool families.
Home School Cooperative Program
- Home school students may enroll in a specific class five days a week for the entire year.
- The class is taught on the CCS campus, by CCS faculty, using CCS curriculum. Students
will be enrolled as space is available. - Classes will consist of those offered in the full time program, grades 5 and up.
- The tuition cost for this option is $85.00 per subject per month per student.
- Additional Book fees will vary depending on the course and number of courses
selected.
DOCUMENTATION:
CCS maintains the following requirements for each student:
1. Monthly attendance reports
2. Grade reports every six weeks
CCS Home School Policies:
• When participating in Cooperative Classes, students and parents are required
to comply with all the policies and procedures of CCS.
• Home school students are required to follow dress code and conduct code as
described in CCS student handbook.
• Parents are responsible to sign students in and out for all class.
• Parents are responsible for students not attending classes.
• When attending CCS field trips, the same requirements for regular students
will be required for home school students.
TUITION:
The 2009-2010 Fees are as follows:
• Registration Fees
Non-refundable Registration Fee due with application
$150 per family due upon registration (prior to March 31) $175 per family after March 31st
• Book Usage, Supply and Student Activity Fee
$70 per student
This non-refundable fee is due by June 30th (per student). This is a global fee for students covers
lab fees, weekly readers, teaching supplies, enrichment class text books, art and music supplies,
standardized tests, and student admittance to home games. It does not cover individual sports
equipment, private lesions, field trip cost, tournaments and competition fees.
• Tuition for Cooperative Classes
$85 per student, per month, per class
Admission Requirements for Home School Programs:
1. New student enrollment form. Submitted with registration fee (non-
refundable).
2. Statement of Faith
3. Parent/ Student Commitment Agreement
4. Pastor Reference Form
5. Interview with Home School Director and Headmaster
6. Cooperative Class Teacher Assessment and Interview
Enrollment in Home School Programs is subject to approval by CCS Admission Committee. Cullman Christian
