Cullman Christian School
Endorsing Churches
and Pastors

The endorsement of the churches or its pastors indicates they
have reviewed our mission statement and doctrinal standards
and support our work as biblically sound.

Endorsement does not mean that these churches support the School
financially, although some do, nor does it mean that they discourage their
    membership from attending school elsewhere.

Listed below, in no particular order, are Cullman area churches and/or pastors
which have lent their support in partnership with our ministry:

    "After reviewing your
    mission statement and
    doctrine, I strongly
    encourage parents to
    consider Cullman
    Christian School
    for their child's education".

    Rev. James Parker, Pastor,
    Baldwin Heights Baptist Church

    " First Baptist Church
    voted to endorse
    Cullman Christian
    School  based on your
    present doctrines and
    goals."

Dr. Edwin Hayes
Pastor, First Baptist Church Cullman
June 12, 2006

"I am most afraid that the schools
will prove the very gates of hell,
    unless they diligently labor in
    explaining the home Scriptures,
and engraving them in the hearts
    of the youth.

    Every institution in which men
    are not unceasingly occupied
with the Word of God must be
    corrupt."

    -Martin Luther

"When I grew up we were taught the
    Creation Story without opposition. Our
teachers could read the Bible in class. This
    cannot take place today.
We have a wonderful school system in
Cullman and Cullman County. These schools
are administered by strong Christian people.
I have supported them. My children and
    grandchildren graduated from our school
    system.
Many people in this community have a desire
for a school that will be able to teach from a
    faith-based education.
The Cullman Christian School is founded on
    those principles. The leadership is
experienced, trained and educated with a
background to be successful with the faith-
    based school system.
I will prayerfully support the Cullman
Christian School and also the Cullman Public
    School System.
I also highly recommend Roger Hood, MEd.
Admin. as Headmaster- Administrator and his
staff with the Cullman Christian School."

    Jack Collins, Director of Missions,
    West Cullman Baptist Assoc

    "After reading the information
    about Cullman Christian School,
on behalf of Daystar Church, I
    would like to wholeheartedly
    express our excitement for and
    endorsement of your school.

It seems to be the beginning of
    something our community has
    needed for quite some time."

Rev. Jerry Lawson
Lead Pastor, Daystar Church

    "Withdraw from a child the
only divine rule of life, and
    the result will be most
    lamentable. An education
    purely secular is the
    handmaiden of godless
    skeptics."

    C.H. Spurgeon

    "The Christian
    school must not
    be education
    dressed up for
    church. It must be
    the church armed
    for intellectual
    battle."

    Albert Mohler,
    Southern
    Theological
    Seminary

"Since Christ is the One in
    whom all wisdom and
    knowledge are found, He
    must be preeminent in the
    total education of our
    children. If the education we
    give our children leaves
    Christ out, they will be
    hindered from entering His
rest. If this is happening, can
    we claim to be educating
    them according to God's
    plan?"

    Glen Schultz in Kingdom
    Education

    "What's clear...from the
    creation onward, is that
    God's rule extends to
    everything. From bank
    accounts to our business
    dealings to our
    educational curriculum to
    our social justice issues
    to our political choices in
    the voting booth-
    everything must reflect
    the fact that God's
    righteous rule extends to
    all of life...In obedience to
    this mandate, we must
    affirm  that truth involves
all of life and then define
    and teach a Christian
    world-view"

    Chuck Colson
