The oldest child pays full tuition
2nd child gets a 20% discount off their tuition
3rd child gets a 40% discount off their tuition
4th child gets a 60% discount off their tuition
5th child or more each gets a 80% discount

How to use this chart:
The tuition is the total amount paid by a family based on the grade level and
number of children enrolled. The
oldest child pays the full price- the discount for
multiple children applies to the younger siblings from oldest to youngest.
Tuition is to be paid in 10 payments (1/10th of total yearly fee) on a  monthly
basis- payable on the 1st day of each month beginning August 1st and ending on
May 1st.
There are discounts for families with more than one child enrolled (see above).
Pre-payment discounts-
10% discount if entire year's tuition paid by May 31st. 5%
discount if paid by August 1st.

Example
A family enrolling 3 children (K-4, 3rd grade and 7th grade) would pay:
registration fees: $150 x 3 = $450
book and activity fee: $175 + $325 + $375 = $875
tuition: $3200 (oldest child's full tuition)+ $2360 (20% off of $2950) + $1770 (40%
off of $2950) = $ 7,330.00 ($733.00 per month)

If this family met the early registration deadline
and prepaid tuition...
registration fees: $125 x 3 = $375
tuition: $7330.00 -10% ($733)=$6,597 (a savings of $808)

Payment Options
Tuition can be paid yearly or in monthly installments. For your convenience, an
automatic bank draft for monthly payments can be arranged with your financial
institution. Please print this
form, attach a voided cheque and return to it to the
school office.

Setting Tuition
As we do not receive tax dollars, every expense, such as facilities, books, supplies
and staff, must come from the families benefiting from them. We keep the tuition
as low as possible to afford the greatest number of families the option to enroll.
Our goal is not to have to charge many additional “fees” for each and every activity
so that the tuition plus the activity/book fee is approximately the total cost and
there will not be “hidden costs”. Because tuition only provides about 20% of our
budget, some fundraising is inevitable. However, we want our students to devote
themselves to learning, and not to being salesmen- selling unwanted items to
family and friends.

Financial Aid
Our goal is to make CCS and its education available to all. Realistically there are
families who will be unable to afford the tuition.  We are reliant on
donations from
churches and charitable individuals to establish and maintain our scholarship fund.
This money will be used to assist those who apply. These monies will be allocated
prayerfully by the
Board of Directors or the Financial Aid Committee based on need
and availability.

Tuition  Financing
Understanding that your child's education is an investment, several options are
available. We have made arrangements with several local bankers to make tuition
loans available to our parents with payments over 10 months. Also,  private
school's tuitions, like CCS, qualify for Coverdale IRA and tax-deferred educational
savings plans. Unused balances can be kept for college expenses. Grandparents too
can open or deposit to these accounts. A prepaid tuition program is being
developed.

Pastor's Tuition Discount
Cullman Christian School offers a tuition discount to church pastors (full-time and bi-
vocational) and to other full-time Christian workers, ministers, missionaries. We
recognize there are many ministers in the body of Christ and the Board reserves the
right to evaluate the applicability of the pastoral discount to each candidate. The
Pastor's Tuition Discount guidelines are:  Tuition rates for pastors include a 25%
discount. The book usage and activity fee plus the registration fee per student is
required upon registration. Pastors and CCS employees are not eligible for
additional prepayment discounts.
